'Smart Eye' by 56 Secure: Everything you need to know [FAQs]
What is Smart Eye?
Smart Eye is an automatic intrusion detection and response security system by 56 Secure. It’s the world’s first end-to-end security solution that detects, analyzes, and responds to threats in real time. When Smart Eye is enabled, 56 Secure’s security professionals closely monitor your camera alerts to ensure your property is safe and secure without your intervention. 56 Secure sends a security guard to the camera location in case any intrusion or anomaly is detected on the premises.
Which subscribers have access to it?
This feature is available only in subscription plans in which our AI security cameras are a part of i.e Premium, Elite and Executive plans.
Smart Eye is available on demand and automatically applied based on the plan a user is currently in
- For Premium users - On-demand basis
- For Elite & Executive users - Professional monitoring is automatically done from 11AM to 5AM everyday for these users.
If you want to enable Smart Eye for longer durations like 12 hrs or 24 hrs, these are available as add-on packages to your current subscription plans.
How does it work?
Smart Eye For longer durations or on-demand basis:
Mention the duration of how long you want to activate Smart Eye.
Once a Smart Eye request is submitted through the app. Our support team contacts you and guides you in setting up the detection zones to keep a close eye on your premises.
Once completed, we have limited number of authorized staff from our 24x7 war room team who receive and monitors your camera alerts once you grant us exclusive permission through your app.
Incase any suspicious camera alert is detected, our war room team automatically dispatches a Safety Agent to your property to check if everything is safe. All this without the need to manually press SOS.
Our safety agent will thoroughly inspect the property and handle the situation if any were there any. In case any suspicious activity is detected, our war room team shares the camera alert with our guard to try to identify a potential intruder lurking around. Once a the situation is confirmed as safe on the ground by our guards, our war room team tags them as safe and continues monitoring all other Smart Eye users camera alerts. 56 sends you a detailed report of all detections and suspected intrusions and interventions done in the past week to a user's registered email ID and via WhatsApp for reference.
If there is any serious issue that has happened and law enforcement are need access to your property, 56 informs you on call and message about the issue and requests your explicit permission to proceed to cooperate with local authorities.
Who has access to your data when Smart Eye is activated?
Your data is completely encrypted and your information is only visible to 3 authorized members from our war room team. We create a highly secure environment by frisking every member for devices that could be used to record your data before they enter the room. All members have proper background verification done by the police and do not have access to download data or take any screenshots manually on our highly secure monitoring system.
What data points do we capture when Smart Eye is activated?
56 only receive your camera alerts (screenshot of video footage) with your consent for the authorized duration. At no given moment does 56 have access to your live camera footage under any circumstances. Live footage is only locally stored and can be accessed by your wifi Your location details are also retrieved from your account to dispatch the guard to the correct location. Your data is encrypted using bank-grade encryption, so what's yours truly remains only yours.
Where is the data stored?
All user data is encrypted with the best industry practices and stored on our server. and are retrieved and computed directly by our software system. Camera alerts are shown to authorized members of the war room team and are then automatically removed once the camera alert is verified.
All data captured during Smart Eye is deleted after 6 months from the date of receiving the camera event from our application.
